The food here was pretty standard for kbbq I'd say. I enjoyed the rice dish and short ribs here the most. The service was very attentive. It was nice for a quick easy KBBQ experience.

Fantastic service and food! There was no wait and we got our order super fast. They also cook it for you! The quality of the meats were great too :D I'm going to go here every time I get kbbq in ktown. The tables and utensils were clean; the walls were decorated with traditional Korean ads; and they had TV for those who are interested in sports. Overall the ambiance was cozy and wasn't too loud.

Did you know this place is more than 20 years old? If a restaurant is that old, we all know they are good. I think their pork bbq rib is way better than other places in Koreatown, and their soybean paste stew reminds me of my grandma back in Korea. It seems like they get hectic during peak hours, so I recommend going non busy hours for better bbq experience - marinated pork ribs get burned easily without constant attention

Jin Ju is located in a sketchy area of East LA on the outskirts of Koreatown. The establishment has a small valet parking lot and most diners are locals as who would go there right? The meat quality is very good and the helpful staff cook the meats for you - regularly flipping and cutting the meat for you into bite size pieces. They' even trim the burnt carcinogenic end pieces away for you to eat. We had the Beef Brisket, Seafood Pancake, and Marinated Pork Ribs. Our favorite was the Brisket, then Pork Ribs (a little dry but tasty - suggest Pork Belly) and the Seafood Pancake (expensive and not enough seafood but plenty of green onions). The meal comes with Banchan, Steamed Egg Custard, and Salad. No rice paper though. Service excellent however we'll probably try other KBBQ places before going back.

After the nurse john show at the wilshire ebell theatre we were looking for a Korean bbq restaurant nearby and found jin ju. The area at night was a lil isolated and .maybe.. scary . But we didn't want to wait an hour for dinner and decided to stay at the hole in the wall. If u let them know u r a yelper..u get a free soda..yay! I must say .the restroom was surprisingly clean. The workers were so friendly . We chose the brisket, beef'marinated ribs and bulgogi chicken. The brisket ... blew me away. I can taste the fresh beef and lime a slightly charred taste. Nothing I've had before. And the salad... had a little nutty taste.. soo good. Just these alone was sooo worth the visit. . Need to go back. It also came with so many side dishes. Thank u for also cooking it for us on their wok in front of us.

What a fantastic kbbq spot in Koreatown, that also offers other classic Korean dishes. If you're on a hunt for a Kbbq spot with top tier quality meat, you definitely have to visit this unassuming spot. Their meats are some of the best that l've tried in the area. Really was a perfect meal to have in this colder season. What we ordered: * MARINATED PORK RIBS This is definitely a must try here! It was so juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I'm coming back here for sure because of this item * MARINATED GALBI It was just as delicious as the pork ribs, we couldn't get enough. I love how generous the portions were. O PORK BELLY AND BEEF BRISKET The quality of the meats were top notch and so fresh. The servers really ensured that it were cooked perfectly. * SOYBEAN PASTE SOUP Shoutout to the staff for the excellent service and amazing food!

Food: 5 stars Service: 6 stars Ambiance: 4.5 stars My first visit with family, and we will be returning for sure! Came here for dinner on Saturday night around 6 pm, and we all left happy. My sister had told me they had pretty good marinated pork ribs - soy sauce marinated style ribs. We ordered two orders of Pork Belly and three orders of Marinated Pork Ribs (for three adults and two kids). I personally like thick pork belly vs. thin ones and if you like me, you will like their pork belly. My two kids really loved them. Then we had the marinated pork ribs which I was looking forward to. They're more like the soy sauce marinated ribs you would see in Korea vs. spicy ones you see in K-town. We ended up ordering another order. I will say their ribs are not as sweet as Ham Ji Park ribs. If you like more flavorful marinated ribs, you may prefer Ham Ji Park, but once you try their ribs, I think you'll have days where you will crave for Jin Ju ribs and other days for Ham Ji Park ribs. Lastly, their service was EXCELLENT! Everyone who came to our table were prompt and so nice. They all made our dinner more enjoyable.

I was there last Saturday on 10/14 for dinner. Hand down and top notch, the best Korean BBQ there is in K town. They have the best pork belly, pork galbi and reasonable price for the soju as well. Must try this place if you are craving for K BBQ. The friendly and quick service is always a plus. They well deserve more attention and more business. I will definitely come back for any occasions again. Thank you for the great food and the service. Cheers!
